Waiting...?

Last week was not a good pain week... my migraines exploded. I think it's the birth control but I am not sure. So I have to wait it out and see, because I don't have a lot of treatment options left. I can't just throw this idea out without being quite sure it is a reaction to the birth control.

Which basically means, I think I am waiting for my pain levels to explode again. It's less than fun.

Anyone else want to whinge, rant, etc about your life?

  1. O dear! That is hard! Plus, I bet it is Birth Control if you are taking the pill. I hope it is sorted out soon.

  2. Soemtimes, I think that living with migraines is like being George from the short story "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut: http://www.tnellen.com/cybereng/harrison.html

Constant interruptions and the inability to hold a thought for very long -- then having to go back in and pick up the pieces. Have you ever felt this way? I know you have a constant migraine, as opposed to getting them once or twice a week like I do.

  3. I so agree simplesavvy! In so many ways. I may write about this if you don't mind. The meds, the migraines making my brain dizzy, the good and bad health spurts, etc. So many times I'm also playing a game of catch up in school
In short, your comment really hit home.

  4. Oh good. I'm glad -- I've tried using this story as an example for non-migraineurs, but not everyone has read the story or remembers the specifics. I don't mind if you write about it. I'm glad someone will -- there's not quite an outlet for it on my blog.
